Strategic Plan

Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) was created to define the vision and develop a mission statement for The Chapel in North Canton.  By clearly defining our overall church mission and coordinating the development of goals for each major area of ministry, current and future ministry areas can be effectively evaluated.

In December 2011, Strategic Plan process completed the initial "development" phase. The "Implementation and Monitoring" phase, which is the most crucial stage, is intended to adopt, integrate and to put into action the strategic plan Objectives, Strategies and Action Plans into every ministry and area of service of The Chapel in North Canton.

In completing the development phase, nearly one hundred members participated and contributed to the development of ministry specific Goals, Objectives, Strategies and Action Plans, that would consistently reflect and achieve the mission statement and core values of the Chapel.

Underlying and foundational to all ministry area Goals, Objectives, Strategies and Action Plans currently defined or developed in the future is the Mission Statement of The Chapel in North Canton:
