Membership
At The Chapel in North Canton, membership matters.
Membership creates a stronger sense of belonging to the church and
allows us to give you more support as you grow in your
faith as a believer, and gives you more opportunities to serve in
the ministry of the church.
At membership classes we will share about our history,
our values, our leadership and structure, our beliefs, along with
our desire to partner with you to support you as you grow
and serve as a believer and minister of Jesus Christ.
At the membership classes you will have the
opportunity to meet some of the church's leadership and learn
about our ministry and how you can be involved. As part of
the membership process there is an
interview, a membership covenant, a special portion of a
service to recognize the church's new members, and a welcome
dessert reception.

"Who Can Become Members?
A person who has trusted Jesus Christ as his or her
personal Savior and Lord and has presented a clear personal
testimony of faith in Jesus Christ to the church leadership, and
has attended and completed all membership instruction.
Members agree to be governed by and to support the church's
constitution, leadership and ministries. A person who strives
to regularly attend the worship services of this church and agrees
to serve and support this church with his or her time, Spiritual
Gifts, abilities and finances and to labor for its spiritual growth
and development. A member agrees not to cause dissension or
division with regard to the doctrinal position or ministries of
this church.
