Refuge of Hope
Refuge of Hope (ROH)
is a faith-based ministry in downtown Canton, Ohio, that provides
emergency shelter for homeless men, meals for the hungry and
spiritual help and guidance for the lost.
The Chapel's Tuesday Evening Meal Ministry
ROH has the most consistent meal ministry in inner-city Canton
-- serving hot, nutritious dinners Monday-Thursday, and lunches on
Friday and Saturday.
There were no meals served on Tuesday nights until June 1, 2010,
when The Chapel in North Canton stepped up and undertook the sole
responsibility of providing the finances and volunteers needed to
sustain that commitment. At a cost of $100/week and with an average
of 12-14 volunteers, The Chapel has enabled ROH to serve an average
of 120 clients on Tuesday nights.
If you would like to serve and fellowship with the ROH dinner
guests on Tuesday nights, send us an email and we will
get you connected.
